[使用時的注意事項:]

- 單一患者: 使用 24 小時後需丟棄。
- 重症監護患者: 請遵循單次操作後用無菌水沖洗或丟棄的程序。
- 若包裝已開啟、手柄出現損壞或產品已開啟 24 小時或更長時間，請勿使用。
- 如果患者口腔中有念珠菌感染（鵝口瘡），請在每次使用後丟棄刮舌器。
Each oral cleanser is designed to and is suitable to be reused for up to 24 hours with an individual patient. It can be cleaned between uses under running water and left upright to air dry in the convenient drying stand which accompanies it.
The oral cleanser is ergonomically designed to cleanser the mouth. It has been assessed and tested with a wide range of patient groups:
- Older people,
- people living with dementia,
- patients with neurological conditions such as Stroke,
- cancer therapy patients,
- people with learning disability and
- patients in specialised intensive care units.
The cone shaped head and smooth rounded filaments soothe the soft tissues when cleansing the oral musosa and by applying a rotating action the oral cleanser can collect debris as it cleans. It can be used on a wide range of people including people with no natural teeth.
The oral cleanser is suitable for use in
- hospitals,
- care,
- nursing and residential homes,
- hospices,
- community health and social service teams, and
- dental practices.
Unlike brushes, the oral cleanser cleans the tissues and collects debris simultaneously. unlike sponge swabs, the cleaning head of the oral cleanser will not detach and form a safety hazard.
The oral cleanser can be used safely with vantilated pateints at risk of contracting pneumonia (VAP). The oral cleanser is for those people who dependent or require assistance for mouth care and for people where conventional methods i.e. toothbrushes and sponge swabs are not suitable.
The oral cleanser can be used wet or dry to;
Lubricate the lips, tongue and soft tissues inside the mouth with water, water based gels and mouth rinses
Remove sticky tenacious secretions, crusty plugs on the palate and stringy saliva following cancer therapy treatment. Or remove any retained food and debris from the mouth.
Aid oral desensitisation for patients with special requirement and learning disabilities.
Clean coated tongues.
